After a live event has been created, a preview is automatically started some time before the event.

You are able to end the Live Event before set end time by pressing the "Stop" button. This will end the broadcast and create an on-remand video if recording was enabled.

Settings

Configure the start and end times, toggle Advertising, Autoplay and Recording, and see whether Timeshift and 360° is enabled under the Settings tab. Timeshift and 360° cannot be toggled after the event is registered, recording cannot be toggled after the event has started. Chat can be enabled at any time before or during the live event. See the Chat article for more details. Iframe is the embed code for a live event.

The "Link date picker" icon next to the event start date causes the event end date to adjust accordingly to changes in event start date.

When end date is unlinked the end date is not updated when start date is changed.

Information

Set Title, Description, Category, Tags, Owner under the Metadata tab. You can also set the moderation flag here. In case of issues with a live event, please copy the provided Media ID and use it with communications with Quickchannel support.

Appearance

You can set Poster Image and view your Logotype for your Live Event under the Appearance tab.

Security
