Media Page – Accessibility
The Accessibility tab lets you add alternative audio tracks, audio descriptions and sign language videos to make your content more accessible.
Go to Media, select a video and open the Accessibility tab.
Languages and Audio Descriptions
You can upload additional audio tracks in different languages or provide audio descriptions for viewers with visual impairments.
- Select the language of the audio track.
- Enable AD if the track contains audio descriptions.
- Click Upload and select your audio file.
Supported file formats: MP4, MP3, MOV and AVI.
Uploaded tracks appear in the list, where you can download or delete them and manage their audio description status.
Note: The original audio track cannot be deleted. You cannot add two audio tracks in the same language unless one is marked as an audio description.
Audio tracks in the player
When additional audio tracks are available, viewers can select their preferred language using the audio selection control in the video player.
Audio description tracks are identified by an AD symbol.
Sign language
You can upload a separate sign language video to accompany your content.
- Under Sign language, click Upload.
- Select the sign language video file.
The sign language video should have the same duration as the original video.
Once processed, viewers can enable sign language interpretation in the player.
The interpretation appears in a movable picture-in-picture window.
