Produce videos faster with editor templates, so your videos have the same intros, outros, and music/sounds. Simply replace the main content with your own footage, ensuring a seamless editing process that saves you time and effort.

Creating a video editor template

In Quickchannel Console you'll find the Editor under the Studio tab. Press New video project to open the Editor.
Give your new template a title, and choose the No template option below to start with an empty project

In the Editor, you can now add text, images, video and audio to the timeline. These will be elements that you wish to start new video editing projects with, to speed up the workflow of editing videos. 
Is this example, we have added several elements, that will be automatically added when using this template creating new projects in the future. We have a text in the text track, an intro image, the main track (that we'll replace with new content in future editor projects), and an outro image We have also added an audio track at the start of the projects.

To save this as a template, go to the dropdown menu by the save button and select "Save as template"

The template settings menu will open, where you can customize various aspects before saving. Here's a breakdown of the options:

Title - the title of template. This title will be presented in the list of available templates entering the Editor.
Description - While not mandatory, you can use this field to provide additional information about the template's content or use case. For instance, you might describe it as being designed for internal training video material.
Location: Choose whether to make the template visible exclusively on your account or, if "Account" is selected, it will be accessible to all users on the account. Saving to account is available only if you have the user role Administrator.
Pin: Opt to pin the template to the top of the list of user-created templates, ensuring easy accessibility.
Select the Main Video Clip: Designate the primary video that will serve as the core content. This main video can be replaced with new media in future editor projects utilizing this template.

Insects will be the main video and the one to replace with new media in future editor projects. Click the video and it will be selected. You are now able to save the template. You will get a confirmation in the bottom right corner of the editor if the save was successful. Feel free to close the editor at this point.
