Upload notifications

Last Updated 2 months ago

Console supports sending notifications to specific e-mail addresses when a new media is uploaded.

This feature is a way for an administrator or account manager to observe activity on an account.

Below is an example of how to set-up e-mail notifications and what it looks like.

E-mail notification settings

Start off by navigating to Settings  Upload  Notifications in the panel to the left.

In this page you can add e-mails that will receive a notification when a file has been uploaded to the account. There are different macros you can use in the email. The Console has a Help button which shows available macros.

Sending an E-mail

This is an example of how an e-mail can be customized. Email subject and body can be customized to contain predefined macros.

The values chosen in the settings page for email notifications then display all the information in an easy to read style. In this example the embed code is ready to be copied directly from the email without having to grab it from Console.

If a user receives an e-mail but does not have access to Console they will simply be redirected to the login page. Any user with access to Console can simply press the Open in Console button to be directed to the media instantly.
