Live events work well with the Teradek Vidiu but be sure to have it upgraded to at least firmware version 1.3.

Ensure that the Vidiu has a proper network connection at all times, but disabling adaptive bitrate when streaming can have a positive effect on the uplink during momentary outages. The setting for this can be found under "Broadcast settings" -> "Quality" -> "ABR".
