Problem

An embed code is added in Wordpress, but when editing the article, the video sometimes gets replaced with just the title image.

Explanation

By default, Wordpress does not allow Administrators to create Javascript tags, which the embed code needs. When a user edits such an article without the required permissions, the Javascript may be removed, and only the title image remains.

Solution

Super administrators can add Javascript tags by default. It is also possible to change the permissions so that normal administrators can use extended html.

Update: Quickchannel now support iframe embed codes which normally works much better with CMS editors. Ask support to help you if you are unsure how to proceed.
